Richardson lauds Abu Dhabi’s commitment to green energy

Former U.S. Secretary of Energy, Governor of New Mexico and Ambassador to the United Nations Bill Richardson was in Abu Dhabi in April for the first session and opening of the International Renewable Energy Agency, IRENA.  IRENA is an international organization focused on promoting the adoption of renewable energy resources worldwide. In his remarks, Governor Richardson noted, “With the current uncertainty in the Middle East, the UAE serves as an economic roadmap for how investments in future industries can provide long-term stability.”
