Cartoons to teach farming

Here’s an interesting article about the use of cartoons and local dialects in mobile videos being used to teach farmers safe and effective farming methods.  A group called Scientific Animations Without Borders, which includes researchers from the University of Illinois, is using animated videos downloaded from the Internet to mobile phones to teach farmers in West Africa about new practices in local dialects and languages.
